After hearing friends from St. Barth rave and rave about how wonderful their home country was, we knew we had to visit. During a long, cold winter in Paris we made the decision to escape the chilly weather for a much-needed vacation in the warmth of the Caribbean.
Because we had the luxury of staying with friends who live on the island we were able to visit all of the tourist spots while also enjoying the local life of picking kids up from school, stopping by the nearby track and having sunset picnics on Shell Beach after all of the tourists had returned to their yachts. We loved our time in St. Barth and cannot recommend it enough!
