They say that the college years are some of the best in one’s life, and for me this phrase couldn’t be any closer to the truth. After spending five years attending university in Aix-en-Provence, some of my most cherished memories take place in this charming city.
On a recent trip to the area I was able to enjoy a nostalgic stroll through the town. I explored the same streets I used to walk en route to class, passing the plaza fountain, the city clock, and my favorite spot for drinks, the terrasse.
Even after all these years it was fun to visit my alma mater and see that the narrow alleys and pedestrian streets still look the same. The only thing missing was my best group of friends to walk the city alongside me!
